Is WEN Suitable for Fine Hair?

As previously reported on, blogger Emily Mcclure put the infamous WEN Cleansing Conditioner to the test to see if all the hype surrounding the product was true. She tested out the Fig version of WEN for 7 days to see if it would make a difference in her thin, limp hair. Her results were quite interesting.

On day one of her experiment, Emily read the instructions on the back of the bottle and was surprised to see how much product WEN requested her to use. She pumped the product well over a dozen times into the palm of her hand as per the instructions. Initially she was worried that it would weigh her hair down but she was pleasantly surprised. She expressed that her hair shed less and her hair felt thicker in the shower. She rinsed the product out, blow dryed her hair and styled it as usual. She noticed that her hair was more bouncy and shiny than ever before.

On Facebook, she has said that she repeated this process over the course of the next 6 days. She washed her hair with WEN and styled it. Each time, her hair became more soft and manageable. Emily decided to use an additional styling product after using WEN and her hair became weighed down. WEN is designed to be a 5-in-1 product and discourages using additional styling products.

Overall, Emily was pleased with the product and stated that she would use it when she wanted extra shine and volume.
