In March 2017, OSI Group bought Hynek Schlachthof GmbH. This company was a family owned business that slaughters beef in Tauberbischosheim, Germany. The owner of the business, Michael Hynek, agreed to a taking a management role with OSI Group in order to maintain the existing relations he has with beef suppliers around Frankfurt, Germany.
