Redwood deck furniture is an especially popular option that holds up well to the test of time. I personally have a lot of childhood memories tied to the redwood patio furniture we had in our back yard. It held up so well that I still have my Mother's redwood picnic table in my back yard. It has held up well for over a quarter of a century now and is still going strong.
