Teaching and Research as Core Practice
At Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Andrew Jacono holds the title of Associate Clinical Professor. At North Shore University Hospital, he serves as Section Head of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In addition, he is Fellowship Director for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, directly shaping the education of surgeons who will carry the specialty forward.

A Technique Worth Teaching
The method at the center of much of that scholarship is the Minimal Access Deep-Plane Extended (MADE) facelift, which Dr. Andrew Jacono developed in the early 2000s. The approach lifts the skin, muscle, and fat together rather than pulling the skin alone, producing results that Town & Country described as making patients look like refreshed versions of themselves.
